Every open gathering names two senior members on duty for the evening so newcomers know who to approach if they need help getting back to their hostel.
No member or guest under 18 is photographed, recorded, or named on the site without written permission from a parent or guardian.
Any safety concern raised with a lead is acted on the same day.
